My first one was a Spectrum 128k, I'm sure it's still in the attic room at my parents.

Wow - YOU were the other person who bought a Mega-CD!

I remember my dad suggesting I wait and see what games came out but I threw a strop and insisted he spunk 400+ on the mega drive and CD combo.

Apart from Sonic CD and Snatcher, a huge waste of cash.

    Had a Speccy before that...

    I started with Commodore 64.

[8D] had MEGA-CD 2, which broke, then got a MEGA-CD 1 (both second hand so no big bucks were ever spent)

I only have fond memories of that system and it's click on the right area of screen to progress throguh the movie type games.
Crap now, but fun back then.

    Tomcat Alley
Night Trap (danger beehind yoouuu, Night Trap!!)
    Road Avenger
    Double Switch

mine was a spectrum as well, cant remember 100% but think it was the ZX. after I blew it up plugging in an 'interphase' thingy without switching it off first we got a commodore 64, then an amiga 500. the 500 got a 512mb upgrade then additional 1mb then we got an amiga 1200 which got heavily upgraded eventually ending up in an eyetech tower with amiga os 3.9, 060 processor, zorro slot with cybervision 64, some kind of sound card i forget the name of, scsi card, whippet serial socket with 56k modem (one of the first amiga quake LPB y'all!!) and loads more bits n bobs I cant remember. then half-life came out and that was it, bought myself a pc. I still have my old amiga desktop which I boot into now and again though thru winuae

I was one of the few to get the Amithon stuff but that got killed off pretty quickly for some reason or another, iirc some kind of licensing argument or something

Unless yo are a collector of antique consoles, a PC and a few emulators are all you need.
