Just spotted this. Are you guys able to get the metal one? If it fits I'd probably rather have that than the paper thin plastic original which is likely to last all of three weeks.

not sure if its been posted already, but a downpipe for mk1 golfs and roccos that allows the use of mk2 16v manifold and mk1/rocco main system would be awesome.

not all of us have the facilities or knowledge to weld one together, and would in theorey be a useful, cost effective option for those of us who cant afford a 4 branch.

Any news on anything that has been suggested, is there any new parts on the way for the mk1 from VW Classic Parts?

It seems that the interior triangle trims, which clip over the screws for the door mirrors are hard to come by these days.

They do tend to snap when removed, making second hands ones hard to find.

Would these ever be available in the near future ?

a way you could ship the headliner is to get some shaped polystyrene. have the polystyrene shaped to the headliner about an inch thick, but flat on the bottom, so the headliner sits on it perfectly and the polystyrene sits flat on the floor, then have a top piece that sandwiches the headliner in the same way on the bottom piece, this woudl slide perfectly into a box of the correct shape, and should give enough bend and sharp object protection for shipping. I can only imagine getting the shame right and having them produced would be expensive but if you do it right, you could make a mould that fits, both mk1 and 2 liners, plus any other liners you may want to make (jetta) bmw etc etc

Front grille badges "GTI 16v". Even worn and chipped ones are going for silly money now. Seems impossible to get one in new condition
