I'm thinking of selling my M-reg 2.0 16v golf GTI but not sure what it's worth. One previous owner, genuine 52k, every MOT from new, all bills, stacks of receipts, 5 doors, newly powder coated standard wheels, full mongoose stainless exhaust system, polybushed rear beam, windsor blue metallic and superb condition. Cherished car, always garaged and used for pleasure only - not many like this. Any ideas?
with 5 doors? about 2.50 haha im only joking, i dont know. have you looked on auto trader / pistonheads etc for idea's?
These `what`s my car worth?` threads really bug my t*ts... How hard is it to look at Autotrader, Pistonheads, etc and find out the general price of similar cars?????

we come on to read what is so special that your selling that you couldnt find the price yourself.then we find out its a 5 door Mk3 GTi that you could easily get an average price within 5 mins if you were to look about.simple.
Sorry StuMc but you have been a bit mean. Perhaps not everyone is as knowledgable as you and would like some support. Me for one, can do anything with photos on a computer except manage to use photobucket.
i understand that photobucket may seem a little intimidating or whatever, but its pretty self explanitory.Once you login, you goto your albums and up the top there is a upload tool that allows you to upload pictures from a few different sources.I'm sure theres a guide on here how to do it as well.
people saying 2.5k for a mk3 5 door are joking right?? trying to wind the guy up? At a push 1800 would be the best result you could hope for I think, more likely to get 1300-1500
mine is a 95 3 dr in purple. had only 2 previous owners, it had cross drilled brakes and uprated dampers. mileage was 144k and i got it for 950 haha mine is a brute now. i recon its worth a squillion but i doubt anyone would buy it for moer than 1400 haha (got nice suspension though_
