    ok, i really need to sell my cabbie before my wedding in june, what do you guys think I should be able to get for it.

    1987 karmann cabriolet
    1 previous owner from new
    all previous mots and tax discs, but no service history
    new roof
    new suspension
    excellent condition all round

    Depends where you are and when you sell it, I'd say round these parts (NW) and this time of year closer to 2k

    well if you've had it up for 1595 and its still not sold i'd say lower your price.

    Yeh I agree, if you sold it at a show, say BVF when its good weather the price may creep up a bit!!
    There was a fella at Bodlewyden Castle last year trying to sell one for 7.5K, needless to say it did'nt sell!!

    well, its pretty useful as you will no way get that much.

    I would say between 1200- 1600 max. You gotta remember that cabs dont really sell we at this time of year. Give it a month or 2.

    I always think that it's very tricky to put a price on them as they can vary so much.

    I think the best place to sell one is at a show early in the season.

    i dont really get to the shows, will probably just try the auto trader around easter time, difficult to know whether to put a few quid on and try my luck. might be sunny by then :)
