I'll give you 2k for it and you can keep the alloys

the thing is it's very "personalised" so may not be to everyone's taste.

The parts replaced is quite irrelevant in my opinion. I would still see it as a 15yr old car with lots of receipts/history.

Are you selling the spares separate? Might be interested in the NOS kit, has it been fitted to a car or as new? What's a cold fusion one anyway, not heard of them.

That only works for cars advertised in the auto trader or if your wanting a PX price, surely a car like this would be sold to a enthusiast that understands the car, and the importance of regular maintainance.

If you only see it as a 15 year old car it's not the car for you, if you see it as a very well kept Corrado with lots of history it must surely be worth 3-4K.

It all depends what your after in a car, and to be fair, it's not like it's painted bright pink with a yellow interior is it, all the mods seem quite subtle IMHO.

2k! :o Thats a bit insulting tbh if you are serious Gareth.
Im not saying its a Mint (Mint as in true meaning of the word) show car or anything (although people do tell me it should be in magazines etc) im not into that...But its not just another corrado G60 either...In fact its not just a well cared for one...Its mine, and i look after/improve things as much as humanly possible.

I wouldn't say its overly personalised myself...The only real marmite exterior touch is the yellow headlights...But its only lamin-x that will peel off if you so wish, same for the fogs/indicaters.

I dunno about others...but,it seems more and more common these days where people don't tend to bother reading all the history/replaced parts listed...Just dosn't register with me,i love and appreciate detailed adverts about cars that i could potentially own...and spend a lot of money on.[:s]

I always look at every single receipt when i go to buy a car,it tells a story of how its been enthusistically cared for...or not...especially good to see head rebuilds/cambelt changes etc surely?[:s]

Some pics...just to show it,excuse my m8 in the bonnet shot.

I meant I'd give you 2k for it right now ;) (in the sense I'd be pulling your hand off at the price lol) I didn't mean it in an insulting way.

Valuing cars like this is always difficult. But realistically I would probably say 3.5k tops

Most of the spare parts I think yo should sell seperately anyway.

But the following types of information I always ignore when adjusting for price:

I think the MOT and performance modifications are what is most important. Most of the parts replaced i would expect at 15yrs old. That's why I think they are kind of irrelevant. It's part of wear and tear that you expect.

I sold a 16v Rado, low mileage excellent condition for 1400

    3.5k is what I think realistically. [:$]

    Sorry Gareth m8...im a touchy fecker lately...apologies m8.

I know what you mean about the above list...but on the other hand, you know that its been looked after in the sense that...if you came to test drive it,you wouldn't find any single thing that dosn't work...and also knowing that you wouldn't soon be having to spend money on cam belts etc etc...ive only had it two years too which hopefully shows the effort ive put in.

Im just putting an advert together for it...and i think ill probably list all of the above,as it should cover any questions such as 'has it had a cambelt? when was the charger done? serviced reguarly? etc etc...

    Cheers,Neil.

I had a very similar G60 Rado to yours Neil about 4 years ago and like you spent thousands on it to get just right. It was the pearl grey colour with leccy recaro. Selling it was the biggest mistake ive made car wise. I tried for a long time to get it back but was unable to track it down as the guy i sold it to sold it on and didnt have the details.

Dont follow my mistake and sell it.

If anyone know where my grey Coorado G60 is J919OJO IS PLEASE pm me!

Aye i remember 'ojo' Gringo, always liked it

Just feels like its the right time to move mine on for various reasons really...i can no longer work full time, and the insurance runs out at the end of the month...money issues etc.

Deep down somewhere,id like to stick it on one side ready for when im back on my feet but it just dosn't seem sensible to do that at the moment.

Well i suppose if things are tight then needs must and i know youve got a little girl to think about then move it on mate.

I would stick it up for 4.5k my self. Corrado prices fluctuate loads, one minute there up the next they are worth sod all. Is it clean enough for a Mag feature? That would generate alot of interest in the car i expect and would help with commanding a higer asking price for it.

i've offered to buy it from you loads of times!!

    3/4K seems good to me..

its not always what the car is worth to me, but i could probably spend months searching and not find one in the same condition with the same care taken.

i feel cars on here are always undervalued.

people moaning about golfs for 1500... at the end of the day, any car with MOT, TAX, FSH, good tyres and other working bits is worth at least a grand of anyones money as its good for a year.

people on this forum go on about 750 minters... the truth of it is they are good finds and its ok if you can wait a long time for it!

same thing with my car, im selling it soon, ive replaced LOADS, more than most people would bother, lots of stuff the mechanic i know said you dont need to, but ive had it done anyway. ill only be selling it for around 1650, but i bet people on here will say thats too much. ohh well if its too much they dont have to buy it!

and IMO mileage is bull5hit. ive had lower mileage cars which have been dogs.

and thats exactly the same position as i am in, although im just working more and more, i need a diesel.

id love to stick my golf in a garage but its just not practical.

good luck with what ever you do Neil, just make sure your certain before you do it because you might regret it!

Id say it is aye...i always get told it is anyway, but me...i tend to under exagerate things if you know what i mean, mint to me really does mean mint.
For example,my dads concours mk1,its never ever had any silicone products on the dash/door cards etc...not one single slight minute scuff or scratch on the trim and stinks of newness,it really is mint.

The corrado,well...the wheel arches/door shuts etc etc are all the same finish as the main part of the bodywork,so it is a very clean one...rust isnt really an issue.

Yep,sorry m8...bad timing by the sounds of it[8(]
Ive had a good few pm's in the past asking if its for sale...

Couldn't agree more about the mileage too,as long as replacement parts are actually replaced!

    For example...using my dads mk1 again[:$]
When we went to look at it,there was an earlier series 1 with only 25k iirc on the clock, but a quick look underneath and it was rusty as hell! the guy wanted 10k for it!

My dads has done 50k miles, but it was/is the better shell/car without doubt!

So mileage pails into insignificance,as at the end of the day...its a piece of metal that is x years old.

    Anyway,thanks for the input guys...appreciated.:)
Im on the verge of advertising it (just tweaking the add) and i will definately be sad to see it go...had a few more cool plans for it...carbon bonnet/nitrous/cossie intercooler etc.
Ps:Unsure about the spares as yet Paulc.

    Neil.
