2002 Gti anniversary,1.8t metallic black 1.8t 110k fsh although not all VW, very tidy, all standard. What's it worth in a private sale?
they do command a high price but anniversaries are overpriced in my view i would say about 4500-6500 at that mileage but depends on condition he may get more have a look on autotrader and pistonheads you do see low milage ones go for 8000-9000 i knew someone how swapped his one at a year old of a r32 thats how hyped they where at the time which seems mad now
When i was looking for my MK4 , i looked at a couple of Anni's. I just couldn't understand why they were going for 8-9000, which was R32 money. I paid 4000 for my 1.8T, which is absolutely mint, with 49.000 on the clock & full service history, which isn't bad. Given the milage on your mates Anni, i'd say no more than 5000 tbh, but its his car at the end of the day.
