my car stops pulling fairly high, like 5800 which isn't too bad, but how can i make it rev higher? and give it more power? is it past 7k the tappets are w*** or something? or am i just doing the ussual and talking out of my arse?
mine stops at 6300 when it hits the limiter i have fitted but then again it's not much point in reving my 8v beyond this.
This one loved revving high but the rev counter only used to go over the top when gearing down for Redgate
forgive me if I'm wrong but I always figured that, if you assume two engines have the same CC, then the wider bore/short stoke one revved harder compared to the longer stroke narrower bore motor was to do with the fact that the wider the bore the bigger the valves. (rod ratios aside)
