Whats the best way to improve mk4 1.8t Golf 150bhp

    Hi there got a 1.8t mk4 golf looking to have a play with it, ive read up a bit and have had some advice from a mate but to be honest was wondering what some of you guys had done and what the outcomes eg (bhp) increase!! Will be greatful of any advice cheers Dan:)

    Firstly, you need to establish which model you have? pre2000?, 150hp?

    Assume by 'play', you mean increase the power?

    Assuming you have a cabled 150hp version, expect a standard ecu remap to give about another 40-50hp

    Following this, money would be wisely spent on the normal exahusts, intake, fmics, injectors ect, to give an increasing power.
