    On a Mk2 16v - 2 litre bottom end in my opinion, cheap and cheerful if you source and fit the parts yourself :)

    onthe abf... getting the vacs and fuel pressure reg sorted.

    decat was good too, but they all make small gains that have added up to a monumental gain.

    ahh my 8v vernier adjustable pulley, cost 30 new (Kent) and got me a good BHP increase on the rollers. useful things

    VR6...... cold air intake under inner wing with oversize intake pipe and reducer just before MAF

    whats the logic behind the reducer just before the maf? ive heard about this sorta thing but not understood it

    my best performance mod per on my MK3 Golf GTI 8v was selling it and buying a fast car in the first place. True story. There's nothing you can do within reasonable cost to improve the performance of that engine, so don't bother in the first place is my advice!

    Jabba remap on my A3 1.8T Quattro (427.50 on a vag20v.net group buy).

    My Mk1 golf had a tune up for 60 after sitting around for 3yrs. Ran like a bag of spanners, now I love it!

    Is a bit of a shocker when I swap cars though. Think the Mk1 needs a turbo!
