Originally posted back in February, so a little update; Mk2 20v - Still not finished... Mk1 Cab - Still not started/finished... Polo - It went matt black, with chopped springs. But the gearbox died... P-reg Polo Saloon 1.9 SDI - Sounded like a tank. Spanish windows, and a dodgy water pump. Lasted a week before I swapped it for... P-reg Mk3 Golf GL TDI - Also sounds like a tank. Daily hack, but I can`t drive a standard car, so it`s slammed on white wheels, and now sports a de-badged grill (Wez`s fault...). Got daft ideas about a straight-through exhaust and 110 injectors...

First car drive, 1960 Vauxhall Cresta. First car owned 1961 Mini - heap of crap cost me 25. Starter and dipstick on the foor. Loads more heaps of crap after that but one of the best, no heap of crap and Himself sold it - I wept for a week, 1969 MKII Cortina 1600GT. Honestly I could have killed him. Never forgave him and that is why we currently have His Volvo V40 (not my choice), the dogs' Astra, my 1973 145 Volvo and my gorgous MKII , the last two never to be parted with. I love old cars and thankfully Himself goes along with it now.

'93 Mk3 Golf 1.4 CL. - Scrapped First car, drove it into the ground, a couple of times and cae back to life Got scrapped eventually. '93 Audi 80 Avant 2l 16v Sport - Scrapped Parents car for 10 years before I had it, swapped the golf for it and took it to the 'Ring, survived with 246,000 on the clock only to be killed by a blown heater matrix months later and a 400 bill to repair. Wasnt worth it , got scrapped too '97 Audi A4 Avant 2.8 Quattro - Sold Had this for a year or so, did loads of work to it and sold it right when big engined cars were worth nothing, biggest automotive hole in my wallet to date. '95 BMW 540i Estate - Sold Bought it for 500 from a friend and drove it for 6 months, loved every minute, besides those spent at the pump filling it up again. Sold it for just over what it cost me '2002 Vauxhall Astra Eco4 - Own. Bought from another friend for the economy, far removed from the V8's 25mpg, still got it for the drive to work... when i get a job :/ '90 Mk Golf 1.3 - Own Or at least it used to be 1.3, had a VR6 transplant and for some reason keeps eating CV's, roll on the 2010 Tour '89 BMW 735i - Own, for now. Bought while i couldnt drive manual (left leg fail), up for sale soon, back in a manual again.
