im on 139k and still pulls like a train, look after it as you should and they last for a stupid amount of miles

 

mine is 74K

 

i guy i know near here has a 96-97 mk3 on 86k. that car is pristine, the interior feels showroom fresh, barely any stone chips on the car. well jealous

these things do last and last though

 

mines a 91 on a J , mk2 16v and its just roled over 97 thou

tom, how on earth did you car get through life without putting any miles on it? ive done 40k on mine in the last 2 years alone

 

I'm not sure what mine is, it's definately more than 250k miles, but pretty much everything on the car has been changed or removed.

 

1991 16v mk2 - 264000 ish kilometres! (163k miles!)

 

my mk4 golf GTTDI 130 has 123,000 on the clock, and dads work van has 287,000 on the clock no joke its becoming quite high and this van is a 52 plate

 

H Plate GTi - 85k

Bought a J GTI plate 4 years ago with 17k on it.

 

just shy of 188k now on the estate not bad for 7 years old, and it still looks mint and drives very very well!!!! but its is a diesel, all i need is someone to carry on the love so I can get a bora and get it out o my system.
