Thought i would have a look at my arches with the idea of,if they were in good condition i would leave them off and get some cl side trims.Unfortunately theres a bit to much grot on the rears so ive got rid of the rust and tried to put the arches back on with screws where the rivets were and strong double sided tape. The problem ive got is where the top part of the arches touched the body work they have rubbed a deep line down to the primer coat and when the arches are fixed in place they sit lower than originally and the line shows,i can push the arches up but they wont stay there.Im getting some Tiger seal tomorrow, any body got any ideas or tips on how to hold the arches in place while the sealant dries?
