The cars been standing in the garage for about 2 weeks now. I brought it out today to give it a wash n wax. I decided to take wheels off and clean them, after taking one bolt off the second snapped in half leaving the other half in the front wheel hub/disc. Hopw do i solve this? i've tried drilling but with no avail!

also is this because the bolts have seised? after being left for a couple of weeks? i've manged to loosen all the other bolts just in case it happens again.

you'l need some kind of bolt extractor kit ..unless you can get vicegrips on it...or get piece of bar welded to the stub

Sometimes they work and sometimes they don`t usually end up drilling to tapping size and removing or retapping but that is only as good as your initial centering of drill.

Get a load of heat on it - should loosen it up, then get a nut weldd on and turn it out.

Thats how i'd get one removed if it was me.

I'm talkin localised heat, oxyacetylene, jus heat the bolt up real hot, doesnt have time to heat the whole thing up.

LOL, surely you have changed enough front dids in your time to know they aint threaded!!

And surely he would have taken the disc off already ;)

I would have thought you'd want to heat the hub to make it expand and make the bolt easier to remove. How about taking it out the back? should come out ok with little effort...
