Wheel Size on MK4 GTi

Hi Guys,

Need some help again, I've got a MK4 Golf GTi and I want to put new wheels on, what's the biggest wheel size I can get away without having to do any other work on the car?

looking to lower it at all? if its not lowered it will look daft. if its lowered that limits the max wheel size

why do you want the biggest possible wheels? going off road?

 

well to be honest, i want to get some R32 alloys and put them on, will they fit ok?

 

18 inch wheels should go on no problem at all, mk4s will accept huge wheels, but for it to look right youll need to factor in lowering it which is more money

 

Lowered mk4s on 19s, even 20s on vortex and the like.
