when i pull up to a junction and depress the clutch the engine revs drop to around 500 or 600 then pick back up to normal idle around 930rpm. just this min ive cleaned the trottle body and put a new air filer, oil filter and semi synth 10w 40 oil.
i dont know if my cleaning has effected it but what else would cause this to happen.

on my journey the car stalled once due to the reasons above i think, so i pulled over and adjusted the mixture setting and it seemed to be a tad better but not massive.

    any help?

    cheers[:D]

Is it Digi? Check the condition of the round flying saucer on the rocker cover breather, a friends did similar as the seal had perished. Wrapped it with gaffer tape as a temp fix for the journey home

It may not be that but it's a start, they cause all sorts of idle-related grief if they perish (or someone puts a screwdriver through them )

idle switch can cause this, make sure it clicks with throttle shut and wiring to it isnt snapped

And a tip for when you fit the new bung; Cover it in Vaseline. It`ll pop in a treat... ;)
