hey, Where is the immobliser unit in a golf 8v 97? i just want to check for loose connections, etc thanks
Hello mate, theres two bits too it. You've got a transponder ring that fits around the end of the ignition barrel (remove the cowling from the steering column and you'll see it), and from this comes a thick black wire which leads to a small black box behind the dash board. I think its somewhere below the clocks/speedo. This black box then has various wires going to the fusebox
