My history and geography are both poor so I'm probably not much help lol Some where in Germany maybe? :-) Ingolstadt?
You could try contacting Audi UK Customer Services. They should be able to tell you where your car was made. I know that you can contact VW and find out the date the car was produced.
thanks. The reason i was asking is because we are doing a road trip(banger rally) in europe and thought it may be nice to take the car to the place it was born in possibly its last days of life.
you should be able to tell from the vin w=gremanny a =audi u= Passenger Car audi and so on the 11th character is the Assembly plant A - Ingolstadt B - Brussels E - Emden G - Graz H - Hanover K - Osnabruck M - Mexico N - Neckarsulm P - Brazil S - Stuttgart V - Westmoreland, PA. (USA) W - Wolfsburg Y - Spain (SEAT)
Ingoldstadt and Emden. My advice would be to visit the museum at Ingolstadt. You also get a tour of the factory. It's a breathtaking place to see.
