Theres all this talk about 20v and 16v on itb's recently but what ecu is the best one for the job and why ?

I was speaking to someone yestorday about emerald and they said that they have had no problems and they give you the software to make your own maps [:D]

but what are you options on the other makes whats the benefits of them and hows the support for them like if they are faulty do they offer you a discount if they need to be repaired or replaced ?

Let us know so we dont make the same mistakes by buying a crap ecu ;)

Very much dependant on who you want to choose for mapping it. Their preference may well have an influence.

DIY mapping, for the inexperienced might just turn expensive if you get it wrong.

DTA, Lumenition, Omex, Motech, MBE, Emerald. all different options
