Which Diesel

    i would like to take the 8v gti lump out my golf and drop something abit more modern and reliable and just wondered which diesel engines is the best to fit and if anyone has done it?

    All depends on time and money, a 1.9 tdi would be easier than say a PD engine, there's a couple on here but I forget their user names, also how far do you want to go - 6spd, five stud conversion, bigger brakes? all stuff to factor in

    Modern = Complicated. What makes you think that equals reliable?

    We Need To No What Engine You Are Looking To Install ....
