Which engine

    Right guys I've got a mk2 golf gti it's a 1985 I have a corrado g60 engine in it at the moment and I'm looking at changing it for a more powerful power plant I'm looking at either a 20vt vr6 turbo or r32 I've not been in any mk2 golf's with these engine transplants and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice thanks in advance mike

    It would be hard to suggest a suitable powertrain, without knowing what aspect of the 20vT to R32 appeals to you.

    I'm looking for a engine that is reliable and also easily tuned for fair horsepower

    'Fair horsepower' comes at a cost. Easy as you are building yourself?

    Yes mate will be building myself I've got a 600bhp impreza and the Mrs has got a 520bhp focus st so no stranger to cost lol
