Which fly wheel?

    hey my mates running a mark two 1.8 16v kr and wonts to put a mark two 8v box into the car the question is does he need to change the fly wheel ,pressure . clutcth plate,so that it will match the box am all most sure 8v and 16v boxs have diff size of shafts that line up and go throw the center of the clutch any thoughts of this wood be great thanks

    Yes the clutch plate has a different spline so you would just need to change that to the 8v one to fit that box

    thanks dude so just change to 8v plate , can we still use 16v pressure plate and fly wheel or do i need 8v as well thanks

    just need the friction disc if the rest is in good nick :)
