Which gear box for mk3 ABF

    hi,
    my gearbox on my MK3 16V has borke down [:x] , now the question is
    which gearbox (except CDA) could be mounted directly (from other VW cars) and it would have similar gear ratios so that the performance wouldn't be affected?
    or which gearbox would be better for the cars performances?

    i think when i looked at it a 1.8 16v corrado one has good ratios and perform better might also get rid of that nasty 3rd gear:lol:
