got this spur of the moment on ebay,lightened and balanced but no good for my mk1 or mk2. can anybody tell me which gearbox its for? cheers
That's a proper race flywheel, but it's not for a GTI, or any race version I have ever seen. I run a works Mk3/4 Golf kitcar flywheel on my trackcar, and it has the conventional 6-bolt pattern of any Golf. The pattern on that one is totally diffferent. Have you any more detail eg, what the ad said?
Item was simply descibed as lightened and balanced flywheel for golf gti with photo. Only paid 15 posted so not the end of the world but would be good to get it back into good use whatever it was built for. have been checking google image for different stud patterns but no luck so far.
