Which mass airflow meter do I need?

My 20vt conversion seems to have been going on for ever!

I have an engine from an S3 but it doesnt have an airflow meter. It has an 83mm diameter at the airhose and uses a 4 pin connection into the loom. Can anybody identify the part i need PLEASE!!!

The "E" spec has a five pin connection, is the "M" a FOUR pin? Dont want to order it and it be the wrong one as I cant send it back.

Check the engine code and the MAF harness connector.

 

Sadly not as easy as that!!

Its a AGU engine with APY manifold, K04 turbo and the loom was supplied by QPEng. My own fault as I thought I could build the engine to my won spec. Stoopid stoopid stoopid!!

 

what have QPEng supplied the loom for then? S3? AGU?
Is it even using MAF thinking about it... MBE ecu?

You are spot on- dont know why I didnt think to ask that question! I dont need a MAF as using an MBE!
