which reconditioned gearbox...?

    Hello all,

    We've got a 91' 8v gti which is going in for an overhaul in the next month or so, and part of the work will be to fit a recon gearbox.

    Volks-apart seem reasonable but does anyone have any specific recommendations or horror stories?

    Can't wait to get her back up to full strength!
