I have an Mk3 16v and i would like to install a shorter gearbox, which are the codes that i should look for? I know that 02A CEW from 1.8 90ps Passat is a good one but hard to find, so what else?

    Thank you!

I use an 02A CRU. Has the 4.24FD, makes it rev....

You'll find one in a 1996 Passat Estate with the AGG 8v 2.0ltr engine.

    Same 4th and 5th as CDA/DPA on a 3.68FD.

A better compromise would be an AGC unit or even better an AYH with the 3.94FD.
