Hi, STILL getting bits together for my 16v turbo build (one day one day... ) was wondering if anyone could advise which throttle body would work best with a S3/TT inlet manifold? I understand the ABF one works with a bit of fettling to the mounting holes but have a feeling the OBD2 vr6 one works too (are they the same?) what about the G60 TB? Any help or advise gratefully received You never know, might actually start building the thing soon Cheers!
g60 tb wouldnt be a good choice, it has a boost return system built into it, other wise its just a twin butterfly tb like most 8 and 16v mk2 golfs. Id go the ABF 1, plenty big enough and fits easy and has the TPS
