As my engine has blown up and either in need of a rebuild or a replacement engine i am toying with the idea of a bigger turbo.

i was just wondering which turbo you would recommend? Jabbas IHI or Garrett T28 or ?????

Also other than the turbo what else would have to be uprated for it to work? injectors? manifold?

I already have someone who i can trust to do a great job just need to be armed with what i want before i speak to him.

Its for a 20VT engine in a rallye

Im not sure exactly what the cause was, but i have a few ideas, but prefer not to post them.

I want to go for big power in the future but at the moment im only looking at around 320-350BHP. Next year when i have more money to spend on it to uprate the gearbox and diff etc then i will look for even more power. I just want an upgrade to what i had before, because even though it only ran for 2 months i got used to the power.

IHI VF22 for future tuning potential, jabba manifold, TT fuel pressure and rail, 380cc injectors, and some low comp forged pistons on early 150 rods should be good..I'd budget for some new valve to by the sounds of it.. [:s]

the GT28RS is also a good low lag turbo - suitable for up to around 350bhp

but i think you would need larger than 380cc injectors for that sort of power
