I'm trying to find an extra-low 5th cog for fuel economy, to go into the gearbox I'm rebuilding at the moment. I already have a 0.717 ratio, with a 3.3 final drive which is great for low revs cruising but not so good for nipping along. So I will be swapping the final drive to 3.6 or even 3.9 to give better acceleration in 1st - 4th, and trying to keep 5th as a long cruising gear.. I've spotted there's a 0.681 5th gearset in the CVT code 02D-style box, but I've no idea which vehicle they're from. Anyone have any idea?
