The noise is now coming from every gear!

But, when I take it out of gear, I'm getting the same sort of tone (only quieter).

Does this mean it could be the diff bearings?

It's odd how this has just got a job lot worse all of a sudden...

Bearings gone somewhere, boyo. I take it you've enough oil in it? I've a box here you could have - but I think the postage might be a bit much......

Well, I bought a new seal, but it still spews oil out everywhere (mainly over the brakes).

If you could put the new box in an envelope, I'll gladly send you over the 29p and a bottle of whisky!

If you can find an envelope that size, you're more than welcome......

Seriously though. It's buggered. I can't see it lasting much longer.
I need a replacement ready and waiting!

Do you have a sound one that I could purchase from you?

I could renumerate you accordingly and supply you with whatever lady you want from here.

    Cheers.

i have, but it'd cost a fortune to post over - get to yer breakers and b uy any old 020 box in the mean time, if you want to mix and match the ratios at a later stage you can reuse the old gears from the old box, as long as you install them as matching gear pairs. If you don't feel up to building your own box try Hoygolf (who I think is in Wales), Fozzie Bear, or DDubs - it might just be a matter of knocking in a new bearing, without a rebuild.
