Ahh thats identical to what my mk1 would be when I get hold of one...

Looks good! Is it half gloss black and half satin black? And what size are the wheels?

the paint work on the car is a total disaster.its a shade of very dark brown so appers black but really needs a respray.i had it parked on the street a while back and when returned there was tiny spots of white paint all over the back and i have no idea how it got there,so i sanded the paint with 2000 grade wet/dry and then polished it and this is the result. the wheels are standard 5.5 j * 14 steel wheels cut and widened to about 7j front and 8.5j rear. front tyres are 195-40-14 and rear 225-35-14.the wheela are quite unique but i think that widened wheels are illegal in england but not sure....
