haha been there.... they are the wrong centre bore the first 2, they are vaux which is 54.1 so i would to try and get them rebored. and the ren ones are too big on the centre bore so will need to have a spigot ring of some sort.

I MAY have found some very light wheels with rubber for just over 400 that fits the bill, im awaiting a reply to make sure they will fit, so watch this space. if they are correct ill let you all know ;) hows a 6.5" x 15 tipping the scales at only 5.5kg....

Have a look at www.wheelweights.net for light weight wheels. Surprising how heavy some of the so called light-weight wheels are!

Renault centre bores are too big, but having a Vauxhall set bored (56.6mm I thought, btw) isn't out of the question if the price is right. ETs tend to be 45/49 though.

ATS or Team Dynamics - no question whatsoever.

Just having a poke around on wheelweights, and found that Enkei make the RPF1 that will fit Mk2 Golfs. Only 4.4kg (9.8 lbs)! Bit expensive at 167 per wheel.

    OZ Ultraleggera/ATS DTC are 5.6kg, Team Dynamics 1.2s 6.9kg.

A few more notes, which were dragged off www.wheelweights.net whilst trying to decide on minimum wheel weights / max spend for the Golf GTI Championship (all 7x15):

    Rota GT3, 100, 6.9kg
    Compomotive CXG, 131, 7.12kg
    ? Pro race, 7.28kg
    ? Pro 2, 130, 6.60kg
    ATS DTC ?90?, 6.28kg
    Rota Grid, 6.19kg, 88

yeah you can upgrage to toyos for 25 but im going to be streached to afford these [:$] at this rate its looking like it wont be on the road due to lack of funds anyway.

i had nankangs a few years back on one of my old mini coopers, and even in 145 ditch finder size they were pretty good in the dry, so that will do me. the cars only coming out of dry days any way and will prob do a track session too when ive done uni provided i get my job

sorry to hijack - but does anyone recognise these wheels??

They are made by Vesta apparently although they have OZ Racing stickers on them.

Cant find any information on Vesta wheels whatsoever! Need some centre caps for them ya see.
