who’s got a mk3.5 cabrio?

can you take a pic of it with the bonnet open? i'm wondering if the hydraulic bonnet stay strut thingy will fit my mkIII as they are only 20 from vw! i believe theres only one on the passenger side?

 

is this the same as the cabrio 3 ?

 

well, its technically the mkIV cabrio, but carry's over the same chassis and interior from the mkIII.

does yours have a hydraulic bonnet strut?

 

I would imagine its a standard mk4 item because the 3.5 cabrio has a proper mk4 bonnet

I've got a pair of chrome lifters on mine...about 20 from eurotech

 

I'll have a look and take a picture tonight on my Mk4 Cabbie, if I escape from work within the next hour.....

thanks anyway mat...fen tiger e-mailed me some pics of his...i thik it would fit, but its gonna be more work than its worth...so now i'mon the look out for black aftermarket lifters. bonrath do black ones, but at 50 i'm not tempted.
