right ive just rebuilt my bbs rm splits and there going for tyres on tuesday, ive taken the valves off my old rims for the new ones, can i re use these valves? they have little rubber seals on the back, can i soak these in anything to rejuvenate them? also if the valves are no good can normal valves be used or will most tyre places have these ones to hand. alot of questions i know but i really dont want to have the tyres off again after there done.
Best to have new valves. Tyre places have new valves, depends what place whether they will have nice cp ones. Demon Tweaks and other places have a selection of nice valves.
New ones - a couple of quid to save you having to blow the tyres up twice a week - it's a no brainer!
