My mum is scottish and her family name prior to marriage was mackenzie.

The Mackenzie clan have their own tartan.

It takes a real man to pull off a kilt!

il try dig out some pics of my dads wedding, me, my bro, my dad, best man etc all wearing them and it was great.

Definately dont wear anything underneith- you have to be "traditional" and isnt it liberating lol, jus funny having to consider how you are positioned when you sit down

cool tartan, looks a bit like green vw interlagos cloth option from the new mk5 gti.

My personal feeling is dont go "bawz out" on a hire kilt, a sentiment shared by many folk i've spoken too.

if its yours however there is no excuse, its a strange feeling

It is my own and i can apprieciate your angle because i wouldn't want my manhood to be touching the area of another. [:s]

its a very liberating felling and good for you by all accounts. No chance of becoming impotent because of tight underwear. [:$]

    Reasons to go "Tradintional"

    1) The splash and dash option when the forever needed drinking pitstop is required has never been so fast. More time for drinking.

    2) The well timed moon of a bare ass just as the photographers tells every1 to say cheese always get a laugh.

    3) The attention drawn when you start to Ceilidh (Pronounced Kaylee) or highland dance to the non scott, when you kilt raises ever higher with every spin. Ladies love a nice pair of thighs.

4)Most women dont wear underwear at weddings because they are paranoid about the Visible Panty Lines. This makes for an awesome quickie with the brides younger sister;) .

it's against the law to wear anything under it [}:)]

not wearing anything under it is what's known in the business as "true scotsman" [:^:]

ie: "darryn, are you a true scotsman?"

*me lifts kilt and flashes plonker to 450 work colleagues*[:^:]

I didn't realise there were soooooooooo many kilt wearers.

We should have our own tartan, Mk5 GTI Tartan Kilts, ACE [:*:]

i think we should make a point of it at one of the shows this year and see who really has the balls to pull it of ;)
