Turn the filters off on the amp??

The amp could be set to let only low frequencies through, for subs.

tweeters and 6x4's are straight off the headunit, only the sub is from the amp

its mostly the front left thats trying to be too bassy

well, that crossover is for mid range speakers, a tweeter needs an even more aggressive crossover...they're usually included with the tweeter, unless the tweeter is designed to be plugged into the main speaker from the component set (the crossover will be attached to the main speaker), or the could have 3 way crossovers.

have you popped the tweeters yet jolfa?

yeh i know, but can get different ones,

as for crossovers, you usually get them with components and will need them!

Or you could just keep running them as they are and see what flames they can produce........ I had a rattley tweeter in the front of my old MK2, so we took it out and bridged it across my sub output on my amp to see how long it lasted.....but of a fizzle and a flame about 4cm high wasn't too bad a result i didn't think!
