Whilst using my MK2 8v G-reg today I noticed a light on underneath the blank switches on the dash, trying to see what it was I removed the blanks and tried to have a look. I then heard a little crack as the bulb blew, then my rev counter, petrol gauge, water temp. gauge and some of the indication lights on my dash stopped working, as did the MFA. The speedo still works (obviously) as do the illumination lights when you switch the lights on. Had a look through the fuses, and all seems ok, although not sure which one thats fed off [:^(] Any ideas as to if the Clocks have there own fuse? Is it in the fuse box, or on the back of the clocks themselves? Any help would be much appretiated. ;)

You should have on the inside cover of the fuse box a list of what all the fused do. Failing that I got the bentley manual out. Give us a buzz if you need.

Nice one will have to do that Dave as, no listing for the clocks on the inside cover of the fuse box, have tried the one that says instruments, but that was ok.

check the voltage regulator on the printed circuit board on the back of the dash. It is a three pin thing. You should have battery voltage going in on one of the pins, and about 10 volts on one of the others. Sorry i am a bit vague, havent looked at one for a while.
Hope this is of some help.
    S ;)

It's either No.15 or No.16 for the fuse Simon. ALternatively, take the single plug out of the clocks and give it 2 mins, then re-insert it. [:^:]
