It's always been the same. People are quite capable of spending 2k on a car and knocking 1k off the value [:^(]
As I learnt with the '60s Mini Coopers, the bog standard cars are the ones that fetch good money in years to come. Modified cars are hard to shift and sometimes worthless ;)

Repost. I posted that same car about 4 months ago. No wonder he hasn't shifted it. He wanted 15k

i like it, if i had the cash I would buy it. Maybe find a snow plough front bumper for it, get a splitter that sticks out the front a bit more, maybe cut a hole in the grill escort rs turbo style..
would look sweet as.... then would probably come higher up

IN THE TOP 100 CARS IN BRITAIN!!!! WTF WTF ARE THESE PEOPLE ON???

Remember that car from Stanford hall a few years back, not to my taste but a massive amount of work gone into it all the same.

At least it's had loads of money spent on it and it's not in a rusty heap at the breakers.

Didn't it at one point have a hard-top type thing? Was in an issue of the Golf?
