i have finally fitted wide arch's to the rear of my mk1 as the local cops were not to impressed at the 9j rear wheels sticking out................

the rear view as it is now, a big improvement, these archs totally cover the wheels.

note the gear gator , not sure if its daft or not. made from stainless plate and an old inner c.v. joint from a mk1 1.1 i had years ago but some fool nicked it and wrote it off..

looks awesome, are they the plastic rivet on arches or metal welded ones?

they are fiberglass construction with a gel coat finish, which was cracked slightly . i have fitted them with a bonding adhesive, looks like black silicone to me but it holds really firm. got them from a link on here. je designs in germany. 178 E for the rear only, don't know if they are available for the front.

    That looks sweet..

Your tyres on the wrong way round though I think, or you've stuck the rear wheels on the wrong sides..?
