Hi, I have a standard mk3 gti 8v and I want to "euro" her. Can anyone tell me what would be involved to fit 16x7.5 alloys on the front and 16x9 on the rear?

The car will be lowered on coilovers but not silly low;) (too many speed bumps where I live [:^(] )

    Any help would be great,

    Thanks,

    Phil

The fronts should be no problem with a sensible drop, but you may need to do some arch work (rolling/pulling) for the rears.

Rolling I understand but pulling I'm not so clear on. If its as it sounds wouldn't it change the shape of the rear end. ie bumper wouldn't fit right.

Sorry to seem thick but this is all new to me

I believe pulling is where they bend the arch outwards slightly to accomodate a larger wheel.

Some Porsche D90s/Design 90s are that size. You could start by going here:
