widetracked mk2 What size wheels

    I have widetracked my mk2 but my zenders catch the arches, What wheels and offset do you guys use?

    my zenders are 15x7 ET 30

    Mine are (I think) 15x6.5 et42 standard VR6 wheels.

    bbs solitude 15's with 205/50/15 and lowered fair bit and no rubbing

    standard p slots (14"x6.5" ET38) at standard height which catch a bit on tight turns but then it is wearing massive snow tyres at the mo. had no probs with p6000s before.

    Ah so your all getting away with 6.5J wheels, ill have to have a look at some new wheels i think

    I know of widetrack mk2's running 7x15 et 26. Arch rolling and trimming the plastic arch gives plenty of clearance along with 2 deg negative camber.

    the other thing is, go back to the mk2 setup rather than wide track

    at the minute the wheels look like this / \ anyway

    15*7 et 37 Superleggeras with R888s. Just needed to trim the plastic arches a bit.

    Camber bolts and a grinder to the arches.

    Wide track Win.

    7J ET28 TSW Omegas for me, and the only way to get them under the front arches was to fit G60 trims. even with all metal gone and plastic lip cut out they still rub near full lock and ate away the lips of my 90spec arches!
