I have a few G60 parts {PG} lying around and a fella with a 8v was asking me will any of the above fit his engine and if they did was there any point in fitting them?? Im thinking the injectors and exhaust manifold will fit,not sure if theres any point in fitting them but no idea if the cam will work with his engine? Any ideas??
Cam - cant tell you exhaust manifold - the only diffrence is that the G60 one will have a lambda probe hole Injectors - they are a larger capacity and the ECU will have to be tweeked as far as i know.
Thanks for the replys lads! I can tell him the cam is no good to him so. Dose the g60 exhaust mani have a bigger diameter than the 8v?
cam no, too lame for n/a injectors no, too much fuel for n/a fuel rail & fpr yes they're the same exhaust yes lambda hole is in the cat or maybe downpipe. extra hole in manifold is for co sniffer
Cheers John,just spotted this now! Is the exhaust manifold diameter the same on both does anyone know?
manifold is same at the gasket ends so it bolts up to g60, 8v and 16v downpipes no problem, and any 1.6-1.8 8v petrol head (not sure on diesel) i think the manifold may be slightly different shape, but not 100%
