I apologize In advance for a non gti question!!!but Posted here cos this is by far the most knowledgable forum I use. But a mk3 1.4 has come up for a real good price, but the ehaust is failing around the lambada, clutch is going and the handbrake is disconnected. I have a 1.6 that i can use these parts out of providing they will fit??? So, will they???
It depends on the engine code of the 1.6, i can't help you any further as someone has borrowed my mk3 haynes. Basically, if the 1.6 is a crossflow (exhaust front side of engine) they will fit, if it's counterflow (exhaust back side of engine), they won't.
