Will the VR6 clutch fit the 02J?

    As above lads.
    I have a new VR6 clutch and a G60 flywheel lying around, will they fit the 02J 20vt box?

    Thanks Hotgolf. Will the 20vt starter work with it and the hydro clutch set up?

    no idea tbh, I'm using the vr gear with an o2a/j and not the 20v stuff

    Oh I see. I think there's a difference between the O2A and J though, my suspicion is that the O2A will take the vr but not the J...

    Nope, basically both the same apart from some very small differences. Clutches are interchangable, they didn't actually change the physical dimmensions of the box,casings, ring gear etc. So the starter shoudld go straight in. Both use the hydralic clutch too. I just haven't actually seen one in a car, although I've had quite a few in bits. Main differences are push in/bolt in drive cups, selector shaft diameters(15/16mm), mouting bracket on the top of the box.

    They fit fine & use a 20v starter

    Cant wait to get this yoke on the road!!
