hi, some 15" 2nd hand alloys have been advertised as having 4 stud vauxhall settings. I would like to know if they will fit a VW Golf mk2 1991?

thanks for your replies in advance :)

    Highly likely they'll fit.

4x100 is the distance between bolt/stud holes and ET is the distance they will stand off the hub.

Well I'm after a set of Mille Migia Spiders that have come off a Nova and they fit, so you should be OK. :)

    Happy Hunting. :)

The Vaux offset is normally about 42mm. Just means yours wheels will sit further into the arches than say an 35mm offset.

just a little warning for you

the std vaux offset is 49mm

that means they will sit 14mm further in to your wheel arch - so they may rub on the inner arch

also you may need to check about the centre bore of the wheels - i bought some the other day that were 4x100 but too small centre bore (guy i bought them off gave me a refund as he is a top bloke and it was an honest mistake)

    renault fitment fit ok...

if the hub diameter is smaller than the wheels then you will have to get the plastic adapter rings that fit in the wheels to mate them up to your wheels or no matter how you try the wheel will not sir right on the hub and give you the effect of poor wheel balance.also if your mk2 is lowered i would run on 195 50 15 tyres to help clearance and keep your speedo more accurate :)
