how can i get my windscreen out without cutting the rubber? i've got a new screen to fit as the old one is cracked.... can i just smash the old one out? or.... where and how much can i get a new rubber for? (mk2 gti by the way) cheers
put ur foot against the screen from the inside and push it out slowly get a mate to stand other side incase it comes out to fast it will give try starting in the corners first to fit new screen u can use string to pull the lip back in on the rubber or you can bend a old screwdriver like a hook shape and run it round the rubber to pull the edge back over the lip
