windscreen

    just a quick one, how easy is it to change a windscreen on a 85 mk2got a crack in mine and just wondered if i could do it myself to save a bit of cash?

    Not hard to do......

    All you need is a long piece or string which is very strong but thin (nylon or something) and two people, one on the outside pushing on the glass and one on the inside pulling the sting which goes round the rubber seal. When you pull the string it forces the rubber seal over the lip and holds it in place.....
