Winter /wet tyres 15" what to get

    Im after some new tyres for the mk2 winter wheels whats alright and dont cost the moon?

    195/45/15s

    Hmmm Goodyear Hydragrip were avail for ~ 30 from Camskill, but they've seemingly been phased out in favour of the Optigrip.

    They should be 195/50/15 on a MK2 btw

    I managed to get some Uniroyal Rainsports last year for 25 each, I think the Rainsport 2's are slightly more

    I cheapest 45 is about 36 toyos

    I really like rainsports, but have just got some T1R's after they where on offer at Camskills.

    I read a few mixed reports about them, before buying.
    Only had them on a week, so far they have been really good, yet to find their limits.

    Im running uniroyal rainsport 2's on the front, cant really fault them

    Did have toyo t1-r's before that but they didnt last very long, i think they are made of some sort of cheese

    Not that cheap, but definately up there in terms of wet grip.

    They wear very well too, so will last you a good few winters.
