Bought a mk2 2.0 20vt this week. It is running pov spec clocks with no rev counter, so rather than go to the expense and hassle of changing the clocks then trying to get the rev counter working I was just going to get an external one, probably this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371456680429?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT How do these wire in? The car is running an Emerald m3 ECU.
Just so you know the m3 will drive the mk2 Rev counter fine if wired up. If you want the stock look Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I did consider that, but clocks are going for about 85 on ebay, then there is the adaptor which is about 40 to get them working. Currently looking to buy a new house so I would rather do it on the cheap if it is easy. Guessing it should be possible to just wire that gauge I linked into the ecu without any adaptors?
I did a lumenition TB conversion with crank trigger years ago, no cam sensor and wasted spark and had to send my race counter away to be recalibrated for a 2 cyl application. To stop it double reading Jon
