Hi all I bought a mk2 16v golf, but the stereo wasnt working, cos of a blown fuse, changed the fuse turned the stereo on & it blew the fuse.Took the stereo out to find no iso plugs just lots of crimps, the eight speaker wires are on one loom? & the power etc on the other?. One loom has Thick red Thick Brown White/ yellow Brown/red Blue/grey & a Black one lying loose. Red & brown are + & -, but whats the other 4??
brown/red is ignition live blue/grey is ilumination and i can't remember what the white/yellow wire is for. sorry if it is not much help.
